A 2,200-watt electricity connection reaches the site

The Rumah Kambera site now has a 2,200-watt electricity connection. The meter is installed in the wooden lopo used by the team while working on the land in Kawangu. It is sufficient for basic construction tasks and lighting when the team stays overnight.

This is an important practical improvement, but it is not the final electricity system for the future socio-medical centre. Medical, laboratory and daily operations will require a separately planned, reliable energy installation as the buildings develop.
